Spreading A Little Love Around the House

This time of year, I’m always taken back to pink frosted cookies, paper heart garlands, and those little Valentine boxes we made in elementary school, you know the ones, covered in glitter, doilies, and entirely too much glue.

Growing up, my mom would always leave a little treat on the kitchen table for each of us on the morning of the 14th and sweet notes either in our rooms or in our lunchboxes depending on the day of the week. (she really did this all the time, but I loved the pink and red heart notes especially.) it always felt so special. She did such a great job at making my sister and I feel loved even in the smallest of ways.
When I decorate for Valentine’s Day now, I try to channel that same sweetness. A little vintage, a little feminine and a whole lot of love. And if I am honest, paper doilies, glitter and glue still find there way into my decor this time of year.

I like to think of the season of love and February as a gentle reminder to celebrate the people we love, the memories we’ve made, and the joy of adding a little whimsy back into our days.

So if you're looking to bring a little love into your home this month, I’d love for you to join me over on YouTube. I’ve shared some simple and sweet Valentine’s Day decorating ideas—cozy corners, playful pops of color, and nostalgic touches.
Because love isn’t just something we give. It’s something we create—right in the heart of our homes.
Wishing you a Valentine’s Day full of warmth, sprinkles, and sweet little moments.
love, Brittney 💕
