March Recap: Feeling Lucky

Another month is in the books for 2019, and we have officially sprung forward into a new season. I personally feel like I blinked and missed the majority of March, but I can say, there were a few moments this month that had me soaking in the memories and realizing my fortune. I spent time with family, friends, fundraising, and frolicking around in spring-inspired attire every chance I could get.

One of my personal goals this year is to be more present in each and every moment. This month I did just that and it had me feeling excited, inspired, and grateful to treasure all the memories I've recently made.

So What was I up to? Here's a little look back on my month of March.

Who Needs Luck When You Can Fight Hunger With Fashion?

This month I was able to attend not one, but two events put on by the San Antonio Food Bank, in accompaniment with Sloan Hall (a fabulous local fashion house,) that promoted American fashion designers in an effort to raise funds for our local community's fight against hunger.

These events were pretty fabulous. You can catch all the details about the San Antonio Food Bank's Fashion Meets Compassion Events here.

Marching into Spring With the most Seasonally Appropriate Outfits I Could Find

IF you know me at all, then you know it's pretty typical for me to dress myself in the color of the current month and season. And March means green and floral anything. (Then again, I feel like I need to insert some kind of floral print disclaimer here: I do wear florals like most wear neutrals so I'm not sure if that counts as a seasonal thing for me personally, but since it's the beginning of spring, it was worth the mention. Anyway, I digress. Moving along...)

This month finally brought some warmer weather which means I finally got to wear some of the spring pieces I've been obsessing over since pastels, stripes, and linens took over the shelves at all my favorite shopping spots.

Here is a peak at a few of my March OOTD's

A few March Social Media Memory Faves

How gorgeous do my sweet mom and fabulous sister look in these photos? We attended a family wedding this month, and it was such a beautiful event that left me with a full heart and a reminder that I'm lucky to have the family I do. For the sake of privacy, I haven't included pictures of other family members here (or the video of my dad showing off his rather impressive dance moves,) but I just have to mention that all the lovely ladies looked beautiful that night (especially the bride; she was literally glowing.) I got to visit with my grandmother and great aunt who never seem to age and always seem to grow more fabulous with each and ever encounter. A good time was had to say the least, and I love them all so dearly.

Now that we have all said our goodbyes to winter, and officially marched into April (sorry, I couldn't help myself,) I am ready for more spring everything. Florals, home decor, sweet treats, cute dresses, cleaning, literally everything. I have so many fun things planned for this next month, and I am so excited to share them with you all here. I hope you'll be back to see all that spring has to bring to the blog.
