Outfit of the Day: Fall Textures & Tones

Brittney Blane

Hi! How's it going? I'm actually wondering where this has week gone. It's already Thursday afternoon and, well, I'm just wondering how the weekend got here so quickly. I have a love-hate relationship with weeks like this. I LOVE it when the weekend arrives quickly, but I hate have a mile long to-do list and not enough days left in the week to do it. Can you relate?? Anyway, I digress.

I wanted to share my outfit here with you today because it's a fashion blog, and it's fall, and my outfit is relevant to both.

When I think of fall it's all about the textures and warm hues that really bring a seasonal wardrobe to life. Today's outfit does just that.

There's not really a more festive outfit than a pumpkin orange sweater paired with really great denim and suede booties. Right? I mean, it definitely makes me crave a PSL and a good stroll through the local pumpkin patch. Hehe...but seriously, it's one of my favorite fall looks.

A creamy neutral cardigan is a fall style essential in my book. I've had this cardigan for years. Although its something I wear throughout the year as a compliment to many outfits, I think it deserves a special mention in the fall because it adds that chic and cozy vibe to any look. The length and beautiful crochet pattern gives a little something extra to whatever I choose to pair it with. I have linked some similar ones here on this post, because I think this would be the perfect piece to add to your capsule wardrobe. You will get many many seasons of wear out of it.
